there was trout and big pike back in the river DON more than 16 ,17 years ago through Rotherham but we kept it to our selfs back then lol nice vid mate,, john

Why do you handle trout without wetting your hands? More to the point, if you’re using barbless with C&R, there should be no need to handle them at all.

Were you fishing in summer? Because I seldom fish rivers in the summer but when i do all i catch is small browns and rainbows, and you caught some decent fish but none that were really that big.

yes it is private but dont let that put you of
go and knock on some doors and ask for permision.Ayway there is enough river that is free fishing and dont just stick to the don .ALL 5 rivers that flow through sheffield have trout in them .

Check out some of the fish found up in Fernie BC Canada, on the Elk River.
